Company Information
AdWit Oy, a company registered in Finland, operates under business registration number 3304192-5 and VAT number FI 33041925. Trektil.com is a brand under AdWit Oy.
Service Description
Trektil.com offers digital travel assistance, helping users find suitable holiday accommodations (apartments, homes, cottages, or hotels) and tourist services provided by various providers (referred to as “providers”).
Booking Engine
Trektil.com operates an online booking engine available on its own website and partner websites (collectively, the "website"). The engine includes a search function, detailed property presentations, availability, prices, and booking capabilities.
Mediation Role
Trektil.com acts solely as a mediator of holiday accommodations and tourist services, facilitating contracts on behalf of providers. Upon booking, an agency agreement is formed between the customer and AdWit Oy (Trektil.com).
Service fees, if any, are included in the displayed prices and shown separately during the booking process and on the invoice. Service fees are non-refundable in case of cancellations or changes.
Property Descriptions
Bookings are based on detailed property descriptions provided by the respective providers. Selection criteria in online searches serve as guidance.
Binding Contracts
Contracts for accommodations and services are between AdWit Oy (Trektil.com) and the providers. Customers must ensure they understand and agree with the service terms before booking. Accurate information must be provided by users.
Provider Terms
Providers’ general terms and conditions may apply and must be clarified in their booking system.
Data Storage
Bookings are stored in the trektil.com system for 90 days after service provision.
Booking Process
Service providers list their services on trektil.com. Based on these listings, trektil.com displays the services to users, who must verify and book them accurately. Providers are responsible for their offers, and trektil.com is not liable for misleading information. AdWit Oy will attempt to resolve conflicts but is not responsible for the services and fees.
System Faults
In case of system faults resulting in erroneous offers, AdWit Oy (Trektil.com) and the provider have the right to cancel the booking within 24 hours. If travel is imminent, the provider must offer a suitable alternative.
Refunds and Changes
Service fees apply to any refunds or changes once a service is booked and paid for.
Property Care
Customers must respect the properties and services provided. Violation of property rules can lead to charges claimed through trektil.com. Customers will be notified and can use their insurance to handle claims.
Third-Party Content
Trektil.com is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of third-party content (e.g., images, maps).
Service Availability
All services displayed on trektil.com are subject to availability. Trektil.com is not responsible if services are unavailable at booking time.
Force Majeure
Trektil.com or AdWit Oy is not liable for consequences of force majeure events, including government directives, civil unrest, wars, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, strikes, or other industrial actions.
Misuse of Services
If a user tries to misuse or give any false information on the trektil.com site, trektil.com has the right to terminate the user agreement and will resolve the issue by asking them for an explanation. AdWit Oy (Trektil.com) also has the right to take the case to the EU court to resolve the issue.
